“Los Angeles” is Only Part of the Name - When LA was originally founded, the full name was “El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora Reina de los Angeles sobre el Rio Porciuncula” meaning “The town of our lady queen of the angels on the Porciuncula River.” 

Los Angeles Is HUGE - If it were it’s own country, it’s economy would be bigger than Sweden, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia.

The Film Industry Wasn’t Always in LA - The film industry transitioned from East Orange, NJ in 1907, and moved to sunny Los Angeles because of the weather, the diverse terrain, and the distance from Thomas Edison and his Motion Picture Patents.
